Hello! I’m Hannah, I’m seventeen and I live in Arvada, Colorado (near Denver). I’m a life-long member but sometimes I wonder how to get to the same level of knowledge as some of the converts here.

I have been a fan of the internet for a long time, and in the For Strength of Youth pamphlet, it states,

The information and entertainment provided through these media can increase your ability to learn, communicate, and become a force for good in the world.

That’s why I started this. I continue this blog because I get to see the progress I make in terms of spiritual growth.

These are tagged posts that share my personal stories. I’m nowhere near perfect, and these posts will show you doubts I had, times when I was scared, posts that will show you a bit more of who I really am behind the “strong testimony and perfect missionary” character I seem to portray. I’m sorry if I seem self-righteous, I don’t mean to be. 

Some little facts about me, religious and random:

• I’m the oldest sibling of four (here is my oldest sister’s blog)
• I like noodles, Alfredo sauce, broccoli, and chicken, but I most enjoy them all together.
• I like looking at bookshelves and looking at the books on the bookshelves and looking at the words inside the books on the bookshelves.
• I have decided to go to BYU Provo, even though I have spent the majority of my life wanting to go to Idaho. I didn’t know I wanted to go to Provo until after I applied to both, so I’m glad my dad told me to apply to Provo even though I didn’t want to.
• Why am I going to Provo? They have a video major (aka Media Arts) and I enjoy making films a lot. I didn’t think either BYU had that program, hence the deciding to go to Idaho until I found out about media arts.
• I don’t really like swimming, I haven’t owned a swim suit in years.
• My favorite part of the day is usually already over by 6:50 in the morning.
• Yes I was one of the girls that jumped on the excited missionary bandwagon when the age was lowered and I have NO REGRETS.
