Then I realized how much conference feels like counting down to New Year’s.
I’m excited.
Look look! Is President Monson!
Do you ever feel a little bored, disconnected, or tired when general conference rolls around? This cool packet will help keep your interest while listening to the servants of the Lord. It’s free, colorful, and it helps you look for the important parts of conference. I had a similar packet last year, and I was able to not only stay awake through the whole thing, but truly listen to the words that were spoken, all while having fun. So don’t look at listening to talks for a couple of hours at a time discourage you from receiving the blessings of following the Lord’s will.
(This one is for the youth, but in related sections there are ones for nursery and junior/senior primary, too!)
Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.
Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.” —Matthew 5: 14-16

Is it not to deal thy bread to the hungry, and that thou bring the poor that are cast out to they house? When thou seest the naked, that thou cover him; and that thou hide not thyself from thine own flesh?
Then shall thy light break forth as the morning, and thine health shall spring forth speedily: and thy righteousness shall go before thee; the glory of the Lord shall be thy reward.” —Isaiah 58:6-8
